You can rent books-on-tape from some video rental businesses and independent bookstores. There are also businesses that specialize in renting books-on-tape. The children's stories are out-of-print but are available from Star Trek merchandise vendors, comic book dealers, and at conventions. You may even find them in record store remainder bins. Prices can range from $1.00 to $20.00. I am providing several addresses for your information. I have ordered merchandise from Atomic Comics but not the others. Atomic Comics has a catalog of science fiction books-on-tape and occasionally has sale prices on selected tapes. Redding's Audiobooks specializes in sales and rental of books-on-tape (in-store and mailorder). Starland sells most of the Star Trek tapes on this list. Many mailorder vendors of Star Trek merchandise and books-on-tape carry these tapes. Prices for tapes range from $8.95 to $17.00 plus shipping. Prices for CDs are higher. Atomic Comics P.O.
